Hippies!
It’s that wonderful time of year again! I know, I know… It’s so cliche to absolutely love fall but your gal can’t help it. It brings me so many feelings of comfort, coziness, and bliss.
I also really LOVE pumpkin. Pumpkin flavoring, pumpkin pie, pumpkin candles – you name it.
This fall will be a little different for us (in a good way! Choosing the glass half full perspective hehe). As some of you know, our family is adopting a new intense budget to help pay our debt quicker. Part of this is involves no splurging on fancy coffees.
Sorry coffee shops of Greenville, but we’re taking a long break from our weekly coffee dates.
Eric has made a wonderful effort towards helping me with my coffee shop breakup. He’s put together a delicious spice mix that tastes like pumpkins, fall, and everything cozy.
To all the peeps looking to save a buck this autumn season, here’s my hubby’s super easy pumpkin spice mix recipe:
Ingredients:
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground clove
2 – 3 tbsp agave syrup (or whatever sweetener you prefer!)
Mix together!
Directions:
When making coffee, put 2 – 3 tbsp agave syrup and 1/4 tsp mix in coffee cup. Add coffee and milk. Stir. Sprinkle pinch of mix on top as garnish.
I hope you enjoy this pumpkin spice mix as much as I do! If you make it, don’t forget to post a picture and tag me in it – I’d love to see it!
